I LOVE COD GHOSTS TO BITS STOP HATIN
The fact they randomly have a space station with a giant big space gun pointed at their own nation
Ghost is class
Well they solved this problem... By making shitter games so people would forget about it. Pure. Fucking. Genius.
Now the 2016 Cod Identity is the worst game, so Cod Ghost is forgotten about, when what kind of name is that, when where are that game ghosts then? Cod Ghost still remembered as the game, that started the downfall spiral of Cod series.
cod vanguard is somehow worse than ghost
@Rimworld64 Hey, if you like the campaign I don't have a problem, it's just that it feels a bit forgetable and doesn't really stand out to me.
@SoulStalker46 wdym, the campaign was awesome, of course you have to ignore the simpicity, but it was still goodEdit to add: ima dumbass opinions are subjective so just ignore me
As someone who didn't have internet access, Ghost was one of my favorites. It's like the only one you could play tdm, s&d, domination, etc against a full team of bots.
the bots were actually really cool in ghosts, i wish future cod games adopted the system
Yo same I remember anytime I had no Internet I would just play against my brother in the same default map
That's exactly what I did lmao
Dude same, I was homeless at the time but still had this to play.
Same... I had no Internet acesss and it was so fun to me
I loved this game, and I still do. The hate it gets is justified, yet I can’t help but love it.
Literally was never justified you’re the problem. Ghost was a result of social media. Social media was on a rise when ghost came out so everything negative trended and band wagon era hopped on the Wagon to fit it. Ghost had top 3 best campaigns and extinction was amazing
I disagree that the hate was justified. I didnt even know it was hated to like last year.
@Corn. the story was interesting ( would not call it bad) but not the best. The online was a blast but aliens was boring.
Rorke was hit over the head multiple times, shot through the heart with a .44 magnum, dragged to the bottom of the sea, drowned to death, then teleports back up to the surface, beats you up, grabs you and drags you to Mexico. Ok, makes sense.
you must be fun at parties
50 cent was shot times and lived, and he’s super natural
He was dragged to Brazil
There’s that……then there’s the fact that they never made a sequel with the cliffhanger ending. And now that I put 2 seconds of thought into it, people hated it so that’s probably why they never made a sequel lol
He survived because "Legends Never Die"
I have so many memories on ghosts. It’s actually my favorite call of duty ever, which is weird. It took me a while to bring myself to watch this video.
I remember the multiplayer being a little frustrating when I returned to the game after some years but I didn't know it was placed as one of the worst COD games
It's my favorite second to bo2 or maybe 3rd to mw3
I remember playing infection with my friend ah good times
Call of Duty ghosts will always have a spot in my heart because me and my dad would always play it together and it was always fun.
Me too and I always loved extinction
Me to I used to play it with my brother
U have a dad?
The campaign was ok, I never bothered playing extinction so I can't tell if it's good or bad, but the multiplayer was not bad it was cancer. Multiplayer is basically camping simulator
Ghosts was my first Cod so it will always be in my heart as well
I appreciate the hell out of Ghosts now that we haven’t had a good call of duty since then. I didn’t even like ghosts when it released because it felt bland and soulless. I loved the character packs, you could play as all the previous cod villains and the Astronaut suit was cool. This game is aging like fine wine but it doesn’t have the player base that it once had. In my opinion this the most underrated call of duty ever but it rightfully deserves its hate because this is the call of duty that was the start to the end for most people
I was a dumb kid when I played this, but I unironically enjoyed the extinction mode, aliens were refreshing for me.
I would have liked it if it wasnt for those stupid toxic ones and if it was endless
i liked the mode that was like waves of zombies, but the zombies have guns (and there’s a bunch of care packages everywhere) even though it made 0 sense
I honestly do wish this game was loved more. It was really one of the last time CoD tried something really new and fresh. Some of it was bad (and some very bad), but there were some good, great and even refreshing new things that we just haven't seen in a long time.
I loved Ghosts. So many memories playing it as a kid. It's a shame nobody liked it that much. Though, I've tried other call of duties and haven't exactly found them fun. I guess whatever made Ghosts different made it appealing to me.
I feel like I’m one of the only people who didn’t think ghosts was that trash
Me too mate
@WockyWojak I felt completely opposite. The multiplayer was playable but very frustrating at times (because of the terrible spawn system that made actual sniping near impossible) The campaign is what I always played CoD for. From the beginning (2004) and every game after I looked forward to the campaign. And Ghosts was the absolute worst action movie BS I'd seen up to that point. Nowadays I know the campaign will be shit and don't even try.Not hating on you but CoD was always about being a regular soldier experiencing the horror and brutality of combat alongside the thousands of others fighting in the battle. Ghosts (and many others) is this gross marriage of 007 action, realism and plot line with arcade like shoot em up shallow violence.I guess I'm just surprised that so many people not just tolerated it at the time but actually enjoyed it.
i miss playing it all the time, tbh was a great game
I liked it too
I always thought the campaign was pretty decent, and unless I'm thinking of a different cod, the alien survival mode was super fun.
“Another year another failure same shit different disc”*That aged well.*
Aged like fine wine
Aged? It was the sentiment at the time
It made me mad that they were saying that back in 2013, Right after BO2 came out, they clearly did not know what they had
I enjoyed Extinction far more than I ever did Zombies. Objective based missions as always felt better to me than wave based survival modes.
This was my first call of duty, and I was very fond of it. I later started hearing that everyone hated it, and I was super confused. I still have memories from spending hours trying to beat extinction with my friends and cousins.
Extinction was super fun , I bought the expansions/other maps too , it was fun to play solo I still play it sometimes
if that was your first im surprised you enjoyed it so much but not at the same time. you dont know how cod used to be. i started on cod 2 big red one for the gamecube n playstation 2 and then cod 2. your a newer generation .
Camping with a thermal scope was so common in ghosts that even the bots would do it in an offline match
@Dreisen Or when they see you hardscoping they treat you like any camper and say that you should quick scope and rush instead. My brother in Christ, not everyone is a cocaine dorito sniffing g fuel injecting sweatlord tryhard that doesn't see the light of day and hasn't washed in weeks, not everyone can learn how to quickscope and some just like sitting from affar and picking enemies with their loadout builds.
@TheKingHostile That's why BF made up for it in adding more player count, 32v32 made more sense on BF's map design, and plus you had vehicles to balance out campers and have an alternative to dish them out of hiding in matches.I think the best example of all tactics being valid is Black Ops 2, I disagree with Actman's notion of "Some people just wanna go and shoot people" on CoD, because CoD is all about bakancing uour perks, guns and equipment and switching between loadouts to fit the situation.Black Ops 2 favors any playstyle by balancing the maps, perks, equipment, streaks and guns around versatiliy, want to take the enemy by surprise and take their objective? There's a loadout build for that, want to defend an objective from afar while defending any entry or exit point? There is a loadout build for that, want to drive your camping enemy out of hiding with sheer force and power? There is also a loadout build for that.Black Ops 2 by far was a good balanced experience, tho fuck MK 48 users, I hate them.
They knew the fans hated them that they program into the A.I
Thank god flashbangs exist.
This was the downside of splitting up the UAV-counter perk from the Thermal/Heartbeat/Recon/etc counter perk. Yes Assassin was too powerful in MW3 as was Ghost in Black Ops 1, but Black Ops 2 and Ghosts made both pieces too weak which also slowed down the pace of Call of Duty. The days of Cod4 and MW2 were the best for game pace because the UAV was omnipresent and the counter everything Stealth perk (Cold Blooded) was put up against Stopping Power. If you wanted to camp with a Thermal Scope and Cold Blooded, you were forgoing the most essential perk in the game.
This sounds like a mix between some new ideas being poorly implemented, and the playerbase just screeching at any sign of change and innovation. It really does seem like this reaction resulted in "okay, they hate change, let's just go back to churning out the same thing every year".
I don’t know why everyone hated ghosts so much it was one of my favorite call of duty’s. The satcom instead of UAV was definitely kinda dumb but other than that I enjoyed the game. The gunplay felt really good. Extinction was fun, mostly because it had progression. The maps with exclusive kill streaks like The Predator and Michael Myers was really cool. Underrated cod imo
@Tactical Mattress SO MUCH FUN!!! The predator and mariachiii was cool af too
Yo i totally forgot about the Michael Myers mode. That shit was fun
Yes! Everyone likes to hate it but the unique things they did with each map and the dlcs was awesome. Also, actually being able to finish a zombies like mode seemed really novel at the time. Also couldn’t get enough of how bullets hitting enemies seemed to actually shake their bodies so you felt like the impact was real. Joining clans was also really fun
Pretty much xd it was different but fun and id rather that than a reskin of a past game. Yeah the satcom was solid shit, but apart from that the multiplayer was top tier with great ass map with 2 or 3 outlayer like all the other cods. Extinction was a good departure from anything else in the series. Hella underated
I disliked ghost when it first came out. But it quickly became one of my favorites. Alien mode was kinda gimmicky but fun with friends. I think people were just getting tired of cod and all that frustration was taken out on ghost
What about the squads gamemode? You fight waves of bots while occasionaly getting crates that give you perks and guns. You can level up weapons by killing enemies to gain exp. And you get killstreaks by getting them from crates that drop every few rounds.
So black ops survival then.
For anyone who's wondering why Ghosts suddenly looks a lot more appealing nowadays, it's because at the time of Ghosts' release, this wasn't the stellar CoD that the first couple of Black Ops installments and Modern Warfare trilogy were. It failed to live up to those CoDs, which tend to commonly be seen as the golden years of Call of Duty. The reason Ghosts looks so appealing now, is because since 2013 came along, we've had nearly a decade's worth of worse Call of Duty games than Ghosts.
I loved ghosts when it came out. I still play custom games a lot with friends since I do find a lot of enjoyment with the game to this day. Any cod game they released after ghosts was not good (Excluding MWR's campaign & MW2CR). They had so much potential with MW2019, but once they added the whole crossover system with BOCW & the disaster that is Vanguard, the game just went from being amazing to horrible so fast.I completely understand why people hated it (Because it wasn't an OG cod game. People are like that.), but now I feel like the reason why most of the newer cod games are so mediocre & trash is because of the hate that Ghosts had received following launch day. Putting all that effort into making these new features & getting hate for it demotivates the developers, especially when Activision has become greedier for money than ever before by releasing store packs that can cost someone thousands of dollars to get them all, when you could spend $180-$200 & get every single DLC/customization pack for games like ghosts and black ops 2.
The golden years of cod lol. That would be when the first two came out.
@Kami Z Productions yeah I completely agree with you. Funny how kids nowadays thinks that game was a classic when everyone at the time hated it and only 12 year olds who never played it in it’s prime think it was a good game lmao. Last good one I enjoyed was bo1
@Do NGF Yeah except Ghosts was faithful to the originals while Black Ops 2 was responsible for creating a Saga of the future leading to:1.Black Ops 22. Advanced Warfare (Worst Cod period for Introducing the most unnecessarily stupid feature ever: Jetpack Hopping)3. Black Ops 34. Infinite Warfare5. Black Ops 4*That era lasted from 2012 to 2019 which means it lasted over 7 years. Sucks because it got so repetitive I simply moved on to Battlefield and later Apex Legends. Warzone isn't bad compared to the Garbage era Cods of 2012-2019, but it came out a little too late (after 7 years) to reclaim my and many other former Cod player interest. I just can't really be bothered with Cod anymore and all thanks to BO2 birthing a Saga of trash.*
It’s cause everyone hated bo2 at the time as well and ghosts killed it for long time fans like myself. Two shit games back to back.
I’ve got such a soft spot for this game and I’m not sure why. While they removed the leveling grind, I still remember how happy I was to get the ghillie suit after the 500 sniper kills or whatever it took.
The final mission was by far the best I had ever played in any of the CoD games. Between starting out as the ghosts on the sinking carrier, striking the station, then heading for Rourke, becoming a tank commander, zooming out into space, back down into the tank, back up into space, then bombarding the federation. I loved the fast pace, it truly felt like a massive military operation in a way that CoD had never pulled off or succeeded in again. And then the final level on that stupid train came and I had to go back to the plot...
I really love playing the big maps I like having to listen around and actually find someone then kill them. It brought joy to me and dare I say it. I loved Extinction more then BO2 zombies having to stand your ground and fight of aliens with the added challenge to make it interesting made it fantastic. Playing with at least one other person made the mode even better
Some of the most fun in video games I had was setting up a game with the most difficult bots on Stone haven. It was just a team of me and my friend versus all of the boys on the hardest difficulty. I don't know if I'd have that much fun today, but back then it was amazing.
Ghost: “I am the worst”Vanguard: “am I a joke to you?”
@Anime Gamer 2 letters and 1 number BO2
@Ediel Garcia I think bo3 or bo4 are the worst in cold war at least we finally found out something about woods its that he's a goddamn onion.
cod does ww2 too much
If you guys think infinite warfare is the worst. Just to play multiplayer only. The game isn’t for you, campaign and zombies are great, especially with a soundtrack. Yeah, i also hate multiplayer but luckily i brought it used
@Anglo-Afghan Royalist i personally really enjoyed ww2 i liked the maps and i liked how when you got a new gun skin from lootboxes it would feel like a brand new weapon i also really liked the hub area especially trying to get on top of the big base but when it came to zombies it was awful (i did start playing ww2 like 2 yeqars after release and came bak during lockdown so i never experienced it when it released hence why i may have a more positive experience)
I miss ghosts. It was a blast to me. I was a fan of the multiplayer despite some flaws it had. And extinction was really fun to me. Didn't even know it got that much hate
Ghosts was the first ever call of duty I ever played, so it will always have a place in my heart. And I liked the concept of the campaign, enjoyed it really. Extinction could have heen better and squads was pretty boring.
The campaign wasn’t THAT bad. Kinda confusing…but that mission in the jungle with only the knife was INTENSE 😮💨
You know what is really funny is that the shield in ghosts was one of my favorite sheileds besides bo2 and the squad mate kill streak was my fave just helpfully enough to help like a Lil marine from halo when he died it truly broke my heart and you can put on attachments then added point system for perks so you can put more perks towards your sheild or side arm now the shield from other games are just underwhelming
Everyone shitted on this game so hard we got 3 fucking futuristic ones in a row
Hell no that game was AIDS, MW19 almost die because how shitty the maps were on traditional multiplayer. the only thing that save it was Warzone. MW22 will be worse than Vanguard I guarantee it. Same shit different disc
Mw 2019 is actually good
@Vincent Bo3 multiplayer was extremely good. Far more skill reliant than any other cod multiplayer. The ones who got good with the movement like the game the ones who don't like the game are just bad at it. Sounds like a dumb argument but it's true
That futuristic stuff sucked so bad I haven’t bought a single cod since. If I wanted that Id playing fucking halo
Yo what I love about this game is the unique weapons and killstreaks u have so much to choose and a lot of them we never saw again. Imagine if this game had a slower TTK and better maps
Call of duty ghosts will always have a special place in my heart. Yeah the game was bad at launch, but as the years past, it developed into a classic.
I love Ghosts! No shame in saying it. I liked all aspects of it. It stayed modern no advanced Jetpacks, double jumping, or specialists. I love extinction the most so fun fighting off waves of Aliens and trying to escape. It holds a special place in my heart best call of duty since it’s release besides modern warfare 2019 of course. I am hoping for Ghosts 2
The one thing u missed with extinction was the Cryptid teeth upgrade system that u get from the first dlc. The more u play the more perma upgrades u can earn which changes each play through afterwords. The biggest and most expensive upgrade gives u an ammo type that is all ammo types in one and it’s was broken fun
Act man you clearly didn’t give the game a chance, did you see the fish A.I.?
No because they swam out of the way 😂😂😂
@ICU_Corey_RN _ 69
Its too funny that the comment (with over 10.000 likes) are not in the top 100 comments in the comment section lmao
you got me in the first half, ngl
You now have ten thousand likes, you're welcome
Out of all the Call of Cod games this one was my favorite. I haven't played that many to be fair, but I have played all of the major and most popular ones and ghosts is still my favorite. Decent gameplay, a multiplayer I actually got into, but that didn't really compare to the campaign. Admittedly it was all over the place for sure but it was still fun and a neat world to explore, at least enough to hold my attention, and have some interesting concepts within. Mostly it was the, invasion? Aliens? Their zombies mode that had aliens instead was my favorite part of it all by far, spent a lot of time playing it and would love to revisit it today. A good modern call of duty with a good zombies mode would probably take that spot though, it's not like ghosts is one of my most favorite games anyways. Just my favorite CoD game, or maybe, more accurately, memorable.Edit: I have basically no opinion on the dog other then just enjoying the fact that I got to see a dog chill out sometimes.
I actually enjoyed ghosts, I still don't really know why everyone hates ghosts, I like the story quite a bit and the multiplayer was pretty decent
You know what act man, after watching the full video I understand the hate. It came out when the Xbox one came out. So they were pressured unrealistically too innovate beyond what was given to us in the game without appreciating how good of a mw3 sequel this actually was.
I actually liked ghosts when it came out. I’m replaying it now and it’s still not bad. I never really play multiplayer so I don’t have anything to say about that, but I judge a game by its campaign and I enjoyed it
Worst part of Call of Duty Ghosts:It's not an origin story for Ghost.
@BUICK GS-77 Riley (MW2 ghost) needs a freaking anime
The original clickbait lool
I honest to god hoped to see Simon Riley (MW2 Ghost)
Bullet dodged considering how this game turned out.
I adore extinction. I love playing it but you can only play the same 5 maps so many times
I remember when I played this game. I was so young I was too scared to play multiplayer, so when I finished the campaign, I thought it was the coolest thing and actually went to the GameStop I bought the game from and asked when the second game was coming out. Man I feel like an idiot
For the second part coming out?
I loved Ghosts. It had a pretty great campaign and a change of weapons is pretty nice.
Ghosts has a hella special place in my heart tbh I played the campaign over and over and over again when I was younger and my parents still quote some dialogue, that's how much I played it. Anyway Keegan is badass asf
After getting shot in the centre of the chest with a 44 magnum and being under water for a few minutes he survives. Ok.
@Fishing and Freedom Fiend I feel like I had a stroke reading that
He didn't die because (there's even a mission in that game called this) "Legends Never Die"
I like to think that the ending of ghosts is just a nightmare that Logan has and doesn’t actually happen
@Kagemusha Shien And I never said Ghosts was completely bad, I mentioned some good things about it, but you can’t look past the bad parts that were never fixed. You’re making me out to be some demon who hates this game with all his heart, even though I’m not. End of discussion. Jesus Christ, some people just cannot be touched.
Чуувак, большое тебе спасибо, я сам пока до игры не добрался, и вот на тебя наткнулся, спасибо за адекватный и качественный обзор, теперь и вправду понятно почему госты никому не понравились
I loved ghosts. Search and rescue was amazing, extinction was dope, and the weapons were good. First cod with sliding instead of dolphin dive. They attempted to change up the series and I honestly really liked and enjoyed the game. I think it being after bo2 was why everyone hated it. Advanced warfare, infinite warfare, and basically everything after bo3 is way worse than ghosts
Ghosts has aged like fine 🍷
Never understood all the hate for this game. Feel like you died just as quick in MW2 as in Ghosts.Feel like a simple rebalance + some map changes could have made this game pretty good.Still I played it for maybe 10 hours, enjoyed the hell out of it.Edit: I forgot Stonehaven XD what a throw of a map was that
Call of Duty Ghosts was my first COD game that I ever played, at the time I thought the game was a pretty good game (this was 2014 so I was like 8 lmao) and when I played the campaign I kind of liked it, I liked the story. When i saw the ending while playing I always wondered "what happened next?" I did want a sequal because I was very curious what would happened. I never really played a lot of multiplayer I just played the multiplayer with my friend when we were 1v1-ing. I know that the federation was a united latin america country, but at the time I always thought that the federation were Russians because I thought it had to do something with the Russian Federation because the Russian Federation had the word Federation and the spacesuits looked like a cosmonaut because the suit was orange... In my general opinion right now to what I think about COD Ghosts is 6/10 lmao... (please don't hate me just because I gave it a 6/10, I like almost every cod game I just dont like the "newer generation" COD, like COD Modern Warfare. And I mostly like the play COD campaigns because I like the listen or play stories)
felt exactly the same like almost everything you said was the same for me
The aliens mode is actually really good and totally need to come back in the future with improvements
OK cod been milk zombies for last 9 years and nothing new game mode. Cod been dry for so long and I could see Install zombie mode to 2018 modern warfare.
Lol more like really bad
@ISI-97 It's an amazing mode and has a small community because of it to this day. It's very unique, never found anything like it in other games.
I remember buying this game from GameStop for $60 when it came out, returned it a few days later for 15 bucks. Terrible game.
Man that "come on, dad" line is so iconic to me. I was in elementary... It was February 2014, and I just got a PS4. My dad got COD Ghosts for himself, and Knack for me. I would play the multiplayer and just jump off the map because I thought that was fun. I have a very vivid memory of me doing that on our crappy TV from 2005. Anyways, fast to 2018, 5th grade, and when I got around to playing it for real, I fell in love with it. I played it 24/7, I loved it. I played that campaign a ton. I love COD Ghosts.
Ghost has a spot in me somewhere, cause it introduced into the cod franchise and fell in loved with it
Everyone: "Cod Ghost is the worst Cod game ever"Vanguard: "Hold my beer"
I never actually played ghosts, but as a kid watching the first episode of a KRclip playthrough it seemed like such a cool idea to play levels where the world gradually deteriorates
“This is the worst Call of Duty ever”Vanguard: *allow me to introduce myself*
@Jimenez GD I still boot up and play mw 3 years after launch. Last time I played vanguard on PC there were so many visual glitches I couldnt finish a match because of a game breaking visual bug. This was the first call of duty I even reach max level in let alone try to get the prestige missions.
@Gavin Dakealeon 🤣🤣
@A Canadian Capitalist where did ukraine come in this conversation u got no comeback to that
@Doctor panther360 Slava Ukraine
@A Canadian Capitalist u got low standards well ur a cod die hard fan boy so not suprised
Don’t forget the cutscene taken directly from The Dark Knight Rises, bullets are less damaging to the human body than paper cuts, “God Rods,” the cool parts were too short, shitty parts dragged… and the multiple ridiculous events like entire city being flooded.
I personally always thought the campaign in ghosts as my favorite... Was hoping for a second one but... Well...
From a single player perspective. The space mission and the submarine one are pretty cool in my opinion.
I don’t care what anyone says this game is very fun. And the campaign is my favorite in the serious.
Extinction is massively underrated. Mayday's bossfight was insane
@Staringcorgi6 the base map is great tf u talking about
I wish the base map was good cause it puts a terrible impression
Agree extinction was the best
@Jesse Wells no you dont need to be at max level or have double class the game is incredibly easy just practice and git gud
If you want to be good at extinction you literally have to level up to max prestige so you can get the teeth upgrades. If you don’t have those (the Ark pack a punch, dual class, combined ammo, start with locker key, improved vulture, etc) you’re going to lose. I got to max prestige and extinction got very fun. Managed to beat all 4 and the final one, exodus, was bunkers fun with teeth upgrades.
I've always liked cod ghosts since it came out and i played it on my xbox as a kid. Loved extinction and the multiplayer. It might not be one of the greatest call of dutys, but most certainly not the worst.
this game has a special place in my heart (especially its maps) because i could never get psn working and wound up only playing splitscreen for the entirety of the ps3/xbox360 phase of gaming. I want this, and bo1/2 to be remastered and that’s it
Cod Ghosts was the first cod I have played and I have to say that I liked the campain, the multiplayer not to mutch (could had more weaponds for exemple) but something that I really enjoide was the caracter customisation and extintion.
This makes me sad to see it apparently sucks cause when I was younger it was the only cod me and brother had and we loved it a lot 😅
People back then: ghosts is trash!People now: *perhaps I treated you harshly*
@Seymour09 its less shit if ur good
@K.E.M. HELL NO ghost is not better than bo2 you on drugs if you think ghost was better than bo2
The best memories i have from COD MP maps are from the OG Trilogy, MW Trilogy, BO1&2(WaW too) and Ghosts.
@Seymour09 try it again
@Seymour09 how is it more sht today when all the toxic players left?
I never understood the hate the game got. I found this game enjoyable especially the multiplayer, because there was no meta. You don't need to grab the guns that are #1 all weapons are equally powerful and effective.
It was the most soulless call of duty when it came out in 2013 because previously every call of duty before ghosts was a huge hit. But I admit it has aged well and some of the maps and guns are classic. Cod ghosts still has the best character packs ever. I love playing as Zakhev, it’s really cool you can play as the villains and captain price in ghosts online.
Me in 2020: it’s my favorite but you raise a fair pointMe after vangaurds release: Finally, at last…. Peace.
Ghost was also a self-contained story and was not connected to the other games how do people get this mixed up? They even stated it was a self-contained story
Call Of Duty Ghosts campaign was a good campaign not best like it's predecessors but the multiplayer is really trash, maps were too big and extinction mode is also not as good as zombies mode in Black Ops games.
Ghosts happens after Modern Warfare, so my head cannon is that Simon "Ghost" Riley is reincarnated as a dog. Which explains why Riley is such a good dog
11/10 good boy
@Prussian bird productions He did come from call of duty ghosts. Because in the prolouge, when Elias talks about the ghost squad's origins, he specifies the number of people. And when you try and cross check the number of people in ghost masks (except Logan and hesh), you will find that the no. of people in cod ghosts aren't all of them( you have to include rorke too). That's where the gap comes in and for that to fill in, we will need another cod ghosts.
I've literally never watched or seen anything about this game before. I've heard of it, but it passed by and I missed it.From the intro, I thought it was going to be a game that turns into being the special ops soldiers that defended the hospital. And that just... Seems like... So much more obvious a plot for the game, that I was shocked to find out the rest.Ah well, the perk system looked cool. Wish that had hung around.
I really liked the extinction game mode. The slow, less hard hitting weapons forced you to take a tactical, smart approach to objectives, fighting and hordes. You need to manage your ammo while fighting off the quick small and nimble aliens. You had to make preparations for large, defensive wave objectives.Stockpiling propane tanks for large hives, searching for special equipment and upgrades for weapons, coordinating attacks and packing the right perk and the right perk special. There are even currency gained by passively playing the game and performing well ingame, used for upgrades and perks and even starter equipment like the glowing suppressor thing *LIKE LIQUID DIVINIUM USED FOR GOBBLEGUM.*Extinction was battered and absolutely drowned in fecal matter for being a unique experience.
I will always have a soft spot for ghosts. It was the first cod game I ever played, it came with my Xbox 360. I also like Advanced Warfare because it was my second one and I absolutely loved it’s story.
I maintained most of the top scores on the DLC extinction leaderboards when the game was fairly new. But the only thing I ever did was buy the grenade launcher turret. I would sit on that turret every game over and over, not only because it gave you extra points, but it was realistically the only way to beat each level. Massive firepower. There are so many fucking cryptids it's insane. Even for four people. And using the same thing over and over again, just got boring.
I love how cod players call "garbage" a game that is exactly like every other cod that exists
This game feels weird to me, I played it when I was very young and i only remember it in small parts. I remember a bit where you are in your bed are and a level where you are in some foreign country where the houses are made from sandstone. I also remember a level I’n a maze, also a drone level.
I actually kinda liked the guns in ghosts. Some of the kill streaks were really cool too.
I love COD Ghost and there are some reasons for me to like it. The Campaign was decently good(in my opinion more replayable than Black Ops 2 cause on BO2 i get bored too easily). It was also the game that got me into COD aka the first COD I've played
Even though it sucked Ghosts had some of the coolest weapons like the Honey Badger, Remington R5 and Chainsaw.
Also the mtar and the vector was really good and the p226
HOLY CRAP. SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY REMEMBERS THESE WEAPONS! I loved using the Honey Badger so much in that game. I only know that gun because of COD ghosts. Chainsaw was pretty cool. I'd always give it a cool camo and a laser sight and dominate multiplayer matches.
Those are 3 of my favorite guns
and the K7! what a fabulous weapon...
I liked Ghosts I just thought the MP maps weren't good and were way too open, and that the TTK mismatched the gameplay. It made for an all-around bad experience, but I can still remember having fun on Stonehaven
I went to a friends house one time and he had cod ghosts on the 360 and I got it a few months later and we grinded safeguard and extinction so much so this game always will have a special place in my heart. But yeah no it is objectively bad for sure
I remember the first teaser trailer coming out and being hyped at the prospect of Ghost from MW2 coming back. Leading a covert squad and getting to play as him. Should’ve done that instead of what we got.
I had a lot of fun on the campaign in high school but I also remember everyone else hating on it until the next cod came out. I must’ve been easier to please back then
COD Ghosts was okay, but it was obviously the point when the franchise became stale.
Stale until Advanced Warfare killed the franchise
@PSYKING-Ultimate correct opinion.
It was the beginning of the series becoming trash. The series got worse with each game. They introduced boost jumps, ugly unrealistic skins, the maps became completely shit and finally they added sbmm. Only ground war and Zombies kept me playing cod for the last 2 years but I'm done now.
@Minecraft Veteran how tf was BO2 innovative? Lol that game is the most overrated CoD ever. It was absolute dooogsht too.
I really loved extinction I don’t know why but I’ve always had an obsession with it
Didn’t he make the exact opposite point about Vanguard regarding the “too much time to think?” He said Vanguard didn’t give anyone a chance to think because it was too fast, while talking about ghosts, he says the opposite. Maybe his opinion changed by the Vanguard video. Idk
Or both of them didn’t reach the middle
I feel like this game failed in the sense that it tried to do too much with a new technology. The game was visually stunning, but it never evolved and call of duty IMMEDIATELY backed onto simple designs after this. This was exactly what the case was in multiplayer. The multi-player got too cute for what we learned on PS3/Xbox. It kept the same player cap, with the same concepts, and tried to force a change with the way the maps flowed. Had the multi-player stuck with either the 3 lane map system or added more players then it would be remembered more fondly. It would've been more hectic and deadly with the time to kill being higher (the time to kill was the players fault, they asked for it).Extinction was perfect, and has an unlimited potential. The games ALWAYS got stressful toward the end and that's how players were drawn back. It was fun to learn new playstyles, and adapt to the changing waves of enemies as you took the drill further. The only issue with Extinction is that it was primitive, and it was the first game mode of its kind and that shouldn't be critiqued because every product starts somewhere. It drew an unfair comparison from 3 sets of black ops zombies maps that were relatively flushed out. I remember that as the game went on, the maps became more intricate and had their own feeling which made the experience better. Neversoft needs to come back for another run at it because nobody else will be able to learn what they had learned
I loved the game. I never knew anyone didn't. Then again this was before the time of watching people like this tell us what to think. When my father and i would just play a game for the fun of it and it was cool.
I actually really liked Ghosts. Yes, some of the maps were way too big. However, the gameplay felt great and it had pretty unique killstreaks.
@zerochilling0 at other game modes I get 30 kills a game. Like 14 with the fire breath
@Name; yes but your talking about shipment im talking out other maps and other game modes.
@zerochilling0 on the general I get 10 kills with it trash players. My enemies get 60+ kills a game plus every game I get it there is at least 1 kid using hacks cause he trash
@Name; your playing trash players lol. The regular shot gun is way more effective to use. I know your speaking about shipment but I'm speaking on the general
@Keefy Yeah 💯
Never understood the hate for ghosts. I absolutely loved it. Only thing I didn’t like was the shortage of extinction maps, we had 5 in total and we could’ve easily used another 10 to add to the pool. I loved the campaign, story was Meh, but then again it’s COD. The visuals and gameplay 9/10Multiplayer was skill based. No more camping in dark corners, if you wanted kills you had to move 9/10Extinction mode, while super fun, got repetitive cause there wasn’t a whole lot of maps or modes, while I did get to max prestige from how much I enjoyed it, it could’ve used more maps. Gameplay was solid 8/10 Overall cod ghosts ranks among blacks op 2 in my opinion
the game was infested with campers and the maps were way too big, the graphics and visuals were ugly and bad, performance was bad even on next gen consoles and ghosts campaign's level design and missions were so boring. Only good things i can think of are the perk system, campaings atmosphere and snoop dogg voiceover pack
I loved ghosts more hardcore multiplayer. It's how I tend to play cod anyway. A little slower with weapons that reward high accuracy and quick reactions.
My issue with it was lack of memorable maps and guns all blend together with how they handled attachments.
i actually liked the maps on ghost, im sick of all the 3 lane maps now a days. im guessing why people hated the maps because there was so little players on each team on such big maps.
How can anyone hate this game? Fish will move out of the way when you swim towards them. This is a revolutionary masterpiece. It even has a dog. For you dog people.
I loved the addition of sprinting. Getting from point A to point B faster was crucial and the team delivered
@NYCKae why should we have to adapt to a shitty version of the game we loved? Why not give constructive criticism so the game we love gets better not addd a bunch of shit no one wants.
@kRosZ they hate shit innovation. Bo2 was way different then mw3 and people loved that game. Simply innovating isnt a good thing. You have to innovate in a good way and still keep that good feeling of cod. Ghost is cheeks. And mw3 isnt a copy but it is similar, but then again its in the same series and they are both modern shooters.
Spartan Q77 are u being. Serious
Ghosts is actually pretty fun. Because of dying so quickly you really learn to watch your surroundings and your reaction time is improved
Cod ghosts will always be my number 1 cod and will have a special spot in my heart cod ghosts is so nostalgic and its the first cod game that I played i remember on the weekends just getting the ps3 and playing ghosts (I forgot what the gamemode was called but ima call it aliens) with my friends the good times
Sorry, but I fucking LOVED Extinction. It is easily my favourite COD mode EVER. I want a game made centered around it. I'd cop that shit so fast.
I really don’t think that this game deserves the hate it gets.
